Should the Internet be taxed (in the US)?

The Internet has not been taxed thus far. However, that might change. On November 1, 2007, the moratorium on this will expire. A new coalition that includes companies such as Amazon.com, eBay and Google is fighting this and suggesting that the Internet should continue to be tax-free.
